Nigerian record producer and singer, Philip Kayode Moses, professionally known as Pheelz, recently fulfilled a lifelong aspiration by collaborating with American R&B sensation Usher. The collaboration materialized in the track ‘Ruins,’ featured on Usher’s latest album, ‘Homecoming.’
In an interview with Apple Music, Pheelz expressed his gratitude and excitement, describing the experience as a dream come true. Having idolized Usher during his formative years in Nigeria, Pheelz acknowledged the impact the American singer had on his musical journey.
Pheelz shared insights into his admiration for Usher, stating, “I would listen to Usher almost every day growing up. I literally dived into his albums and learned from him. And to be able to write, produce, and teach him [Usher] in a way, it shows me how far the [Nigerian] music has gone. It shows me how far dreams can go as well.”
