A tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday along the Mile 12-Ikorodu Expressway in Ketu, Lagos State, where a speeding driver reportedly killed a yet-to-be-identified male pedestrian.
The driver, who was transporting pepper and other perishable items in a commercial Toyota Hiace Bus (with registration number NSW 216 XA), collided with two Volkswagen commercial buses and struck the pedestrian at Ketu by Demurim Junction, inward Kosofe, Lagos.
The collision resulted in the death of the pedestrian and left one passenger injured. The Director of Public Affairs for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed the tragic incident.
