PDP Set to Strategize with Ondo Stakeholders Ahead of Governorship Election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is gearing up for the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State, as the National Working Committee (NWC) prepares to convene with critical stakeholders from the region. The meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, 2024, aims to chart a strategic path towards securing victory in the November 16 election.

In a notice issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP emphasized its commitment to ensuring the success of the party in Ondo State. The meeting, to be presided over by the Acting National Chairman, His Excellency Amb. Umar Iliya Damagum, underscores the party’s determination to rally support and mobilize resources effectively.

The gathering, slated to take place at the NEC Hall, PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja, at 12 noon, will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to deliberate on key strategies and initiatives aimed at strengthening the party’s position ahead of the election.

Amidst growing anticipation, the PDP urges all its members in Ondo State to remain steadfast and focused on the collective goal of rescuing the state from what they describe as the “rudderless, incompetent, and insensitive” administration of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The party aims to instill transparent, development-driven, and people-oriented leadership through its platform.

As political dynamics continue to evolve, the PDP remains steadfast in its commitment to providing effective governance and addressing the aspirations of the people of Ondo State. The meeting with critical stakeholders signifies a proactive approach by the party leadership to engage with grassroots supporters and garner widespread support ahead of the electoral contest.

With the November 16 governorship election looming, the PDP is poised to capitalize on the momentum generated by this strategic engagement, paving the way for a robust campaign and ultimately securing victory at the polls.
