Paris Saint-Germain Targeting £75 Million Move for Marcus Rashford

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly preparing a £75 million bid to secure the services of Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford in the upcoming summer transfer window. This move is seen as part of PSG’s contingency plan to replace Kylian Mbappe, who is anticipated to join Real Madrid.

According to the Daily Mirror, PSG is eyeing Rashford as they brace for Mbappe’s departure, with the French star poised for a long-awaited switch to Real Madrid. Despite a previous attempt in 2022, where PSG offered Rashford a staggering £400,000-per-week wage, they were unsuccessful in convincing him to leave Manchester United.

Rashford’s form this season has been described as middling, having scored seven goals in 27 league appearances. However, PSG remains interested in signing him, despite United valuing him closer to £100 million ($128 million). Financial Fair Play regulations have reportedly reduced United’s summer budget, potentially opening the door for negotiations, although it remains uncertain whether Rashford would be willing to depart from his current club.

Intriguingly, Rashford has demonstrated recent scoring form by finding the net in both of his previous outings against Manchester City and Everton. With his scoring prowess evident, he aims to extend his goal-scoring streak in the upcoming FA Cup quarter-final clash against Liverpool, further showcasing his value on the pitch.
