Odumodublvck Warns Nigerian Artists Against Hating on Wizkid

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has cautioned fellow artists against harboring resentment towards Grammy-winning singer Wizkid, describing it as a form of “self-sabotage.” In a recent interview with content creator Elsie in Toronto, the *Wotowoto Seasoning* hitmaker emphasized that it is counterproductive to hate on Wizkid, also known as Machala.

Odumodublvck explained that he wouldn’t take offense if he collaborated with Wizkid and the superstar didn’t promote the track on social media. “There are some artists that when you release music with them, they look as if they are doing you a favour,” he said, adding that he never pressures artists to promote their collaborations. “If Wizkid gives me a verse and my album comes out and he doesn’t post about it, I will not be angry.”

He concluded by warning that targeting Wizkid with negativity is a losing strategy, saying, “If you start hating on Wizkid Machala, you lose.”
