Renowned Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, has unveiled the unexpected profession he would have pursued if not for his successful journey in the film industry. In a recent interview with Pulse, Okanlawon shared that he harbored aspirations of being a Christian cleric, emphasizing it as more of a calling than a conventional career path.
“I don’t think I can call it a career path, it would have been more of a calling. I think I would have been a pastor [if I wasn’t an actor],” he revealed during the interview.
Contrary to speculations linking his on-screen roles to real-life demeanor, Okanlawon expressed his strong stance against domestic violence. Addressing rumors about himself, the actor highlighted the most ludicrous one – that he is “expensive to hire.” However, he intriguingly added that this particular rumor is not entirely baseless.
