Nollywood luminary Jim Iyke has expressed profound grief following the tragic demise of his fellow actor, Pope Obumneme Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope.
Junior Pope, renowned for his role in “Secret Adventure,” met an untimely end on Wednesday, along with three others, after their boat capsized on the Anam River in Anambra State, while returning from a film shoot.
In mourning his departed colleague, Jim Iyke conveyed the depth of his sorrow, acknowledging the pain as distinct and overwhelming. He conveyed his sentiments on his Instagram page, stating, “Dear God, I am no stranger to devastating loss. I will not dare question your will but my heart is so heavy with so many questions. Words fail me.”
His poignant tribute continued: “To the giver and taker of life, I surrender but this one is a different pain. A different loss. Broken in ways I don’t even understand. Rest with God JP. Rest my dear brother.”
