In a surprising turn of events, the defunct Nelita duo, comprising Nelly and Anita, has emerged as the only former pair to secure two finalists in this season of Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard’ edition. The competition, which initially began on July 28 with 14 pairs and a total of 28 housemates, has seen intense rivalry and strategic gameplay.

The housemates were separated into individual competitors on September 2, forcing them to battle it out solo. Despite the unpairing, Nelita achieved what no other duo could—both members advanced to the finals.

On Sunday, September 29, after the eviction of Ocee, Topher, and Kassia, Nelita solidified its dominance. The remaining duos, including the Mbadiwe Twins, DoubleKay, and Aces, saw only one of their members survive to the finals.

The final eight housemates now vying for the ultimate prize of N100 million are Kellyrae, Victoria, Wanni, Onyeka, Ozee, Anita, Nelly, and Sooj. The season finale, set for next Sunday, promises to be a nail-biting showdown.
