Mother Seeks Financial Support for Daughter’s Medical Treatment

Adesewa Adeoye, a 35-year-old mother residing in Igara town, Akoko Local Government Area of Edo State, is reaching out for financial assistance to aid her five-year-old daughter, Eniola, who is experiencing severe pain due to a leg fracture sustained while playing with friends.

Eniola’s ordeal began in October 2023, evolving from a minor discomfort to excruciating pain, hindering her ability to walk. Adeoye narrated her daughter’s struggle, emphasizing the emotional toll of watching Eniola weep daily as she misses school and sees her peers attending classes.

Despite seeking help from bonesetters initially, Eniola’s condition worsened, prompting a visit to the hospital where she underwent an x-ray. The diagnosis revealed the need for treatment and a plaster of paris (POP) cast. However, financial constraints have hindered Eniola’s continuous medical care, exacerbating her suffering.

Dr. Alfred Tume, a consultant radiologist, emphasized the importance of regular treatment over six months for Eniola to regain mobility. He stressed the potential consequences of inadequate treatment on Eniola’s leg bones, urging prompt intervention to prevent further complications.

Adesewa Adeoye appeals to compassionate individuals and organizations to contribute towards Eniola’s medical expenses. Donations can be made to the account provided below:
