Wunmi, the widow of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has called upon the deceased’s father, Joseph Aloba, to seek a court order for a DNA test to determine the paternity of her son, Liam.
Following calls from Mohbad’s father and concerned individuals for a DNA test on Liam, Wunmi had previously expressed her openness to the test, insisting it should be conducted both in Nigeria and abroad.
However, in recent Instagram posts, Wunmi raised alarm, alleging threats against herself and Liam. She pleaded for assistance from Nigerians, fearing a recurrence of the tragedy that befell Mohbad.
Expressing bewilderment at the sudden demand for a DNA test, Wunmi revealed Mohbad’s father had pressured them into having a child, citing divine instructions. She questioned the motive behind his current insistence on a DNA test, emphasizing her commitment to proving Liam’s paternity.
