Auckland, New Zealand— The MFM Mountain Top Chorale, associated with the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries Worldwide, has proudly represented Nigeria at the 2024 World Choir Games held in Auckland, New Zealand.
Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM, expressed his excitement on Facebook, praising the choir’s performance and their opportunity to showcase Nigerian indigenous music alongside his compositions.
“It’s fantastic to see the MFM Mountain Top Chorale representing Nigeria at the 2024 World Choir Games, showcasing indigenous music and compositions by Dr. Daniel Olukoya,” Olukoya wrote.
Often referred to as the “Olympics of choral music,” the World Choir Games is a prestigious international event that celebrates the diversity of choral music and promotes global harmony through song. This year’s competition has brought together over 11,000 singers from more than 30 countries, making it the largest choral competition and festival worldwide, according to the event’s official website.
