Despite facing relentless pressure, Inter Miami found a lifeline when Marco Delgado received a second yellow card in the 87th minute, reducing LA Galaxy to 10 men and shifting the momentum in favor of the visitors. This pivotal moment opened the door for Messi and his teammates to capitalize on their newfound advantage.
While the result may have salvaged a point for Inter Miami, the team’s frustration was palpable after the final whistle.
