Stranger Things actor Matthew Modine has revealed his plans to officiate the wedding of his co-stars Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, son of rock legend Jon Bon Jovi.
Modine, known for his role as Dr. Martin Brenner, the paternal figure of Brown’s character Eleven in the Netflix sci-fi series, shared the exciting news during an interview with Access Daily. He disclosed that he had already penned the wedding vows, expressing his delight at the opportunity to unite the couple in matrimony. According to Modine, both Brown and Bongiovi embraced the idea, expressing admiration for the vows he crafted for their special day.
Although Modine admitted to officiating only one wedding ceremony before, he described the experience as profoundly moving, emphasizing the beauty of joining two individuals in holy matrimony.
Brown, the 20-year-old English actress who skyrocketed to fame as a child star on Stranger Things, announced her engagement to Bongiovi, 21, in 2023. The couple, who began dating in 2021, have since captivated fans with their love story. While the exact date of their wedding remains undisclosed, Brown’s heartfelt announcement on social media hinted at the depth of their affection.
