Manchester United Explore Raheem Sterling Move Amid Chelsea Winger’s Frustrations

Manchester United have initiated exploratory discussions regarding a potential deal to acquire Raheem Sterling from Chelsea. The 29-year-old forward has been training separately from Chelsea’s first-team squad after being informed by manager Enzo Maresca of his limited opportunities at the club.

United’s approach highlights the club’s sporting director Dan Ashworth’s intent to leverage Sterling’s current situation at Stamford Bridge. There is no guarantee that an agreement will be reached, and any potential deal is expected to be negotiated on United’s terms.

While Sterling remains a target, Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is also a point of interest, with Chelsea reportedly showing interest. However, Juventus have shown reluctance to meet United’s terms for a loan deal involving Sancho, including an obligation to buy and full wage coverage.

Sterling, who has 82 caps for England, is known to be a long-time Manchester United supporter. He previously spent a decade in the North West with Liverpool and Manchester City, where he won 10 major trophies before his £50m transfer to Chelsea two years ago.
