Manchester City striker Erling Haaland may miss his side’s FA Cup semi-final clash against Chelsea due to a muscular issue sustained during Wednesday’s Champions League defeat against Real Madrid.
City manager Pep Guardiola revealed that Haaland asked to be substituted late in the game due to discomfort. Guardiola expressed uncertainty about Haaland’s availability for the upcoming match against Chelsea, stating that the player’s condition would be assessed in the coming hours.
While Haaland’s participation remains uncertain, midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, who also requested to be substituted against Real Madrid, is expected to be fit for the FA Cup semi-final.
