Liverpool right-back Conor Bradley is set to miss approximately three weeks of action due to an ankle injury sustained during Sunday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
The 20-year-old player suffered the injury early in the second half of the game, prompting his substitution by Trent Alexander-Arnold, who made his return from a knee injury that had sidelined him since February.
As a result of his injury, Bradley is expected to sit out Thursday’s Europa League fixture against Atalanta, as well as upcoming Premier League matches against Fulham, Everton, and West Ham throughout the rest of April.
Liverpool faces a challenging task in the Europa League, trailing 3-0 against Atalanta heading into the second leg of their quarter-final tie in Italy.
While Bradley’s absence presents a setback for Liverpool, there is hope for his return in May, coinciding with crucial league fixtures against Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Wolves as they conclude their Premier League campaign.
Bradley, who represents Northern Ireland internationally, has featured prominently for Liverpool this season, making 22 appearances, contributing one goal, and providing six assists.
