Lagos State University Mobilizes Students for NYSC Orientation

The management of Lagos State University, Ojo, has announced the mobilization of its students for batch A, stream 2, for the three-week orientation of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). This announcement was made through a statement released by the institution’s Students’ Affairs Division on its official communication platform on Friday.

According to the statement titled ‘Important Information For Graduates Proceeding On National Youth Service Corps’, eligible corps members are instructed to check their NYSC details on the portal designated for the 2024 Batch A stream 2 mobilization. The management emphasized that all necessary information required for successful registration for the exercise has been made available on the portal.

“The Students’ Affairs Division hereby advise all prospective corps members to check their details on the NYSC portal for the 2024 Batch A Stream 2 mobilization exercise,” the statement read. “All graduates are also enjoined to ensure that the date of graduation on the NYSC portal is the same as that on their Notification of Results/Certificates.”

Furthermore, the statement outlined specific instructions for prospective corps members, emphasizing the importance of accuracy and uniformity in documentation. It stated, “Any discrepancy should be reported at the Students’ Affairs Division immediately. Prospective corps members are to present their registration slip, notification of result, and school identity card at the Students’ Affairs Division for sighting, before proceeding to the NYSC Orientation Camp to avoid rejection at the camp.”

Additionally, graduates of Lagos State University received a special advisory to print their self-generated notification of result(s) on plain white paper to ensure uniformity in the documents presented.
