Trevor Lawrence managed to find Brenton Strange for a Jaguars touchdown in the third quarter, but Ray Davis’s late rushing score sealed the thumping victory for Buffalo. Jaguars quarterback Lawrence was sacked four times, contributing to Jacksonville’s third defeat in as many games.

Rookie QB Jayden Daniels Stars in Washington’s 38-33 Win Over Bengals
In the other Monday night game, rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels impressed with two touchdown passes and a rushing score of his own, leading the Washington Commanders to a 38-33 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Daniels, the second overall pick in the 2024 draft, completed 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards, helping Washington to their second victory of the season.
Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow had a strong outing, completing 29 of 38 passes for 324 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Ja’Marr Chase. Despite a late one-yard touchdown run from Zack Moss that cut the lead to five, the Bengals ran out of time, suffering their third straight loss to start the season, their worst since 2019.
