Producer-turned-singer Jonn recently disclosed in an interview with Revolt that his transition to becoming an artist happened unexpectedly.
“I never really planned to be an artist, but life played out,” Jonn explained.
Describing his shift from producer to artist, he noted, “It was a learning process. It’s a whole different ball game. It’s a whole different hustle, grind, and business. It took me time, but I think I’m getting hold of it.”
Jonn also mentioned the influence of artists like Olamide, Kizz Daniel, and Lil Kesh in his journey. Early in his career, he collaborated with Olamide’s YBNL Nation, producing multiple tracks for Lil Kesh, Olamide, and other label artists.
