Islamic Cleric Arrested in Ondo State for Unlawful Possession of Human Parts

In a disturbing development, Ondo State Police detectives have arrested an Islamic cleric, Oluwafemi Idris, for unlawful possession of fresh human parts in the Akoko area of the state.

According to a statement by the spokesperson for the state command, Funmi Odunlami, the arrest came following intelligence received from a reliable source about the activities of the suspected ritualist, also known as Alfa.

The police swiftly took action and apprehended the suspect, discovering human hands, three kidneys, three hearts, spine, and tongue in his possession during a search conducted at his residence in Akoko. It is alleged that Idris intended to use these human parts for ritual purposes.

Further investigation revealed that some of the human parts were supplied to Idris by his friend, an Alhaji, who is also an Islamic cleric, as well as one Samuel Kutelu. Additionally, Idris confessed to supplying one Babatunde Kayode, identified as an Oluawo, with three human heads.

Both the Oluawo and Babatunde Kayode have been arrested, while efforts are underway to apprehend the other cleric who allegedly sourced the human parts for Idris.
