In a dramatic turn of events, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) conducted raids on multiple residences belonging to renowned American singer Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday. The raids come in the wake of a series of lawsuits leveled against the music mogul, including allegations of physical abuse, sexual assault, and sex trafficking.
Notably, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie, initiated legal action against him in mid-November, alleging both physical and sexual abuses. Furthermore, three other women have since come forward with rape allegations against Diddy, intensifying the scrutiny surrounding the artist.
In a statement issued by DHS, it was confirmed that Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York, along with support from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and local law enforcement partners, executed the law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation. The statement also emphasized the commitment to providing further information as the investigation progresses.
