Hollywood Mourns the Loss of Veteran Actor Zulu Adigwe

 

Nollywood is reeling from the loss of yet another icon as veteran actor Zulu Adigwe reportedly passed away on Tuesday evening. The sad news was shared via an Instagram post by movie producer Stanley Nwoko, who expressed his condolences and announced Adigwe’s demise.

While the cause of his death remains undisclosed, Nwoko’s post served as a somber tribute to the late actor, acknowledging his contributions to the Nigerian film industry. Adigwe’s versatile talent graced numerous notable films, including “Living in Bondage,” “Breaking Free,” and many others, solidifying his status as a respected figure within Nollywood.

Adigwe’s passing adds to the somber tally of actors lost by Nollywood in 2024, further deepening the industry’s collective sense of mourning. His departure joins the ranks of other beloved figures such as Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and Junior Pope, underscoring the profound impact of their legacies on the Nigerian film landscape.
