Harry Kane Sets Personal Record with Bayern Munich’s Win Over Eintracht Frankfurt

In Bayern Munich’s victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, England striker Harry Kane made history by achieving a new personal milestone for his most goals in a season.

Kane, 30, scored twice in the match, elevating his season tally to an impressive 42 goals across all competitions in his debut campaign for Bayern. This surpasses his previous best of 41 goals for Tottenham during the 2017-18 season.

His first goal came from a well-placed finish from nine yards, following a precise cross, before he confidently converted a penalty in the second half.

With these goals, Kane also reached the landmark of 400 career goals for club and country.

Remarkably, Kane has scored against 16 of the 17 other Bundesliga teams in this campaign, matching the record set by Gerd Müller, Ailton, and Robert Lewandowski. Additionally, he is the first player to score or assist against all 17 sides in his debut Bundesliga season.

Despite sustaining a knee injury and receiving treatment in the second half, Kane persevered and continued to contribute to his team’s performance.

Looking ahead, Kane expressed his ambition to potentially break Robert Lewandowski’s record of 41 goals in a Bundesliga season, with three games remaining. He acknowledged the challenge but remained optimistic, stating, “It’s possible, but obviously I have to get a move on.”
