Hannah Cockroft Secures Fourth Consecutive T34 100m Paralympic Title

Britain’s Hannah Cockroft continued her reign in Paralympic athletics by claiming her fourth consecutive T34 100m title, earning her eighth Paralympic gold medal. Cockroft dominated the race at Stade de France, crossing the finish line in 16.90 seconds, well ahead of her British teammate Kare Adenegan, who took silver with a time of 17.99 seconds. Fabienne Andre, another Briton in the race, finished in fifth place.

The 32-year-old Cockroft has been an unstoppable force in the T34 100m event since her debut for Great Britain in 2011. Her latest victory further cements her legacy as one of the greatest Paralympic athletes in history.

In another highlight for Team GB, wheelchair racer Sammi Kinghorn earned a silver medal in the T53 800m event, finishing behind Switzerland’s Catherine Debrunner.
