In a tightly contested match against Brentford, Erling Haaland showcased his lethal finishing ability once again, securing a crucial 1-0 victory for Manchester City. The Norwegian striker capitalized on a defensive slip by Brentford to edge the champions within one point of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Despite Brentford’s resilient defense and their history of challenging City, Pep Guardiola’s side remained determined to claim all three points.
