Senator Abraham Adesanya, affectionately known as ‘Lalala’, was born on December 25, 1922, and passed away on April 27, 2008. He was a prominent Nigerian politician, lawyer, and activist, deeply respected among the Yoruba people for his unwavering commitment to democracy and the rights of his people.
In her tribute, Tutu described her grandfather as a tireless activist and champion of democracy and social justice.
