Dr. Olamide Ohunyeye, a prominent governorship aspirant under the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the sudden demise of Dr. Paul Akintelure, describing him as an esteemed politician and a beloved son of the state.
In a heartfelt statement released personally by Dr. Ohunyeye, he announced the suspension of all his political engagements and activities, including those of his campaign organization, as a mark of respect and mourning for the departed colleague and senior figure in Ondo State politics.
Dr. Ohunyeye shared his shock and disbelief upon learning of Dr. Akintelure’s passing, emphasizing the significant loss felt by the entire state and the political community. He praised Dr. Akintelure as a man of integrity, both in his political endeavors and his distinguished career as a medical practitioner.
