The family of the late Nollywood actor, John Odonwodo, popularly known as Junior Pope, has announced the funeral arrangements for the beloved actor, who tragically lost his life alongside four others in a boat accident on April 10.
According to the funeral announcement signed by Divine Odonwodo on behalf of the family, the burial proceedings commenced on April 23 with a requiem mass at Saint John-Mary Vianney Parish in Asaba, Delta State. Another requiem mass is scheduled to take place at Christ the King Catholic Parish in G.R.A, Enugu, on May 13.
An evening of tributes and candlelight will be held at the Amadeo Event Center in Enugu on May 14, allowing friends, colleagues, and fans to pay their respects to the late actor.
On May 16, a wake will be held at his country home in Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, Nsukkaa, Igboetiti LGA of Enugu State. The interment will follow immediately after the burial mass at St. Peter’s Parish in Ukehe on May 17.
The funeral arrangements will culminate in a final thanksgiving mass on Sunday, May 19, at St. Peter’s Parish in Ukche Nsukkaa, Igboetiti LGA, Enugu.
