Former Senior Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun Dies in Accident

Prof Joseph Odemuyiwa, the immediate past Senior Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Vocational and Technical Education, has tragically passed away. The esteemed professor, known for his dedication to training individuals in vocational skills, reportedly died in an accident on his way to Ibadan.

The news of Prof Odemuyiwa’s passing was confirmed by Dickson Awolaja, the lawmaker representing Remo North State constituency, who hails from the same town as the late professor. Awolaja expressed sadness over the loss, highlighting the impact of Prof Odemuyiwa’s untimely death.

Aged 66, Prof Odemuyiwa had previously served as a lecturer at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, and Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, both institutions owned by the state government.
