Nigerian singer Adedamola Adefolahan, popularly known as Fireboy DML, recently shared his excitement about going on a date with the legendary American pop star, Madonna. In a recent interview with Billboard News, Fireboy expressed that the experience was the “most memorable day” of his life.
The ‘Peru’ crooner revealed that Madonna initiated contact by sending him a direct message on Instagram. According to Fireboy, Madonna mentioned being a fan and expressing love for an unexpected song on his debut album. He praised Madonna’s unique and humorous personality, stating, “She is so weird and funny. I just love her. That is one of the highlights of my career; having a song with Madonna is really something to be proud of because that’s the Queen of pop.”
Fireboy DML went on to share details about the extraordinary experience of going on a date with Madonna, describing it as a standout moment in his life. The date followed their collaboration on a remix of Madonna’s 1998 classic, ‘Frozen,’ which they released in 2022. The duo also shot a music video for the remix in the United States.
