Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo’s Netflix Original Yoruba movie, *Jagun Jagun*, has received an impressive twelve nominations at the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.
The film, which has garnered widespread acclaim, is nominated in key categories including Best Indigenous Film, Best Supporting Actor, Director of the Year, Best Use of Makeup, Best Cinematography, Best Costume, Best Actor, Best Sound, Best Soundtrack, Best Production Design, Best Special Effect, and Best Actress.
In response to the recognition, Adebayo expressed his excitement in a viral post on his X handle. “Wow Guys! We’ve done it Again!! Delighted to announce that *JAGUN JAGUN – THE WARRIOR* (a Netflix Original Movie) has been nominated for Twelve (12) Awards at the 2024 BON Awards,” he wrote on Saturday.
This latest achievement follows *Jagun Jagun*’s recent success, having secured seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). Released in 2023, the epic film continues to make waves within the Nigerian film industry and beyond.
