Femi Adebayo’s ‘Jagun Jagun’ Earns Seven Nominations at 2024 AMAA

Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo’s film *Jagun Jagun* has bagged seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). The nominations were revealed during a ceremony in Lagos, attended by members of the AMAA jury, the screening college, and the Africa Film Academy board.

The film received nods in major categories including Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Achievement in Production Design, Achievement in Costume Design, Achievement in Makeup, Achievement in Visual Effects, the Ousmane Sembene Award for Best Film in an African Language, and the NFVCB Award for Best Nigerian Film.

Sharing the news with fans on Instagram, Adebayo expressed his excitement, saying, “Hey guys, we have done it again! Delighted to announce that *Jagun Jagun* clinched seven nominations at the 2024 AMAA AWARDS nominee announcement yesterday.”

The event saw notable figures such as the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Shaibu Husseini, and film industry icons including George and Chinyere Anyiam-Osigwe, Segun Arinze, and Charles Novia.
