Federal High Court Convicts Bobrisky for Naira Abuse

Controversial crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been convicted by the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos for abusing the Naira. The conviction comes after Bobrisky was arraigned on four counts of naira abuse by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Justice Abimbola Awogboro handed down the conviction after a thorough review of the case’s facts. Despite pleading with the court, claiming ignorance of the law on naira abuse, Bobrisky ultimately pleaded guilty to the charges.

During the proceedings, Bobrisky, who boasts a significant social media following, expressed remorse and requested a second chance to use his platform to educate his followers about the consequences of spraying money. However, the judge emphasized that ignorance of the law does not excuse illegal behavior.
