In a recent interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast, former Mark Angel Comedy member Igwe opened up about the difficulties he has faced since leaving the comedy group.
Igwe disclosed that his social media accounts were hacked the week he departed the group in 2019. “They hacked my YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram pages the week I left Mark Angel Comedy,” he said. He added, “Since that time, I was told to do something I do not understand, but the pages do not go forward or backward. Since 2019 till now, the social media pages have not added one follower. It is just there like that.”
Earlier, Igwe had claimed that he founded the Mark Angel Comedy channel and accused Mark Angel of monetizing it without his consent. The comedy channel, which launched in 2013, has over a billion views and nine million subscribers on YouTube, featuring popular acts like Emmanuella and Igwe himself.
