England to Host Zimbabwe in Men’s Test for the First Time Since 2003 as Part of 2025 Summer Schedule

England’s home summer of 2025 will see the national men’s cricket team face Zimbabwe in a Test match for the first time in over two decades. The one-off Test at Trent Bridge on 22 May will be Zimbabwe’s first against England since 2003. Following this, England will host India for a five-Test series, beginning at Headingley on 20 June and concluding at The Kia Oval on 4 August.

The England women’s team will also have a packed summer, facing India in five T20s and three ODIs. Notably, the women’s side will play their first Test at Lord’s in 2026, also against India, although there is no home Test scheduled for them in 2025.

The West Indies’ men’s and women’s teams will visit England for white-ball series in May and June. England’s men’s team will later host South Africa in September for a series of ODIs and T20s, before wrapping up their season with a trip to Ireland.

The summer promises a mix of historic encounters and competitive cricket, with both the men’s and women’s teams engaging in high-profile series. Here’s a look at the full schedule:
