American hip-hop star Eminem has seemingly taken aim at fellow rappers Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and embattled music executive Diddy in his latest album, ‘The Death of Slim Shady (Coupe de Grâce).’
In the track ‘Anti-Christ,’ Eminem doesn’t hold back, referencing Diddy, who is currently facing multiple sexual harassment allegations. “Next idiot that ask me is gettin’ his ass beat worst than Diddy did,” he raps.
Eminem also targets Kanye West, aka Ye, in the same track. He addresses the rapper’s public controversies and vows not to “fall off” like him: “Say they wish that I wasn’t so angry, don’t wanna see me go off the deep end like Ye, ayy,” he raps.
Kendrick Lamar, who is already entangled in a hip-hop beef with Drake, doesn’t escape Eminem’s criticism either. In another track titled ‘Renaissance,’ Eminem takes a jab at Lamar’s recent work, saying, “Cause I don’t see no fans, all I see’s a bunch of complainers/’Kendrick’s album was cool, but it didn’t have any bangers,” Em raps.
