Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Nigerian to host an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at the 2024 UNGA, themed “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.” Following her keynote session, she also captivated the audience with a musical performance.
Her session marked a historic moment as it became the largest youth gathering in UN Headquarters history. Notable attendees included the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and José Maria Neves, the president of Cape Verde, highlighting the event’s prominence and impact.
