The entertainer, who faced detainment and punishment in November 2021 for violating the armed forces’ social media policy, expressed gratitude to the Armed Forces for the lesson learned during his time in a Navy cell.
Captioning photos from his stay, Cute Abiola stated, “30 days Inside cell 2021! The military really humbled me. Thank you Armed Forces. My morale was high. I had a little fun inside the cell at some point.”
Having exited the Nigerian Navy in November 2022 to pursue his entertainment career, Cute Abiola clarified that the decision was a strategic move to focus more on his passion. Notably, his departure coincided with his appointment as the Special Assistant on Creative Industries by Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State.
