Cristiano Ronaldo proved decisive as Al-Nassr clinched a vital victory over fellow Saudi side Al-Fayha in the first leg of their AFC Champions League last-16 encounter.
In what was a closely contested affair, Ronaldo emerged as the match-winner with his 81st-minute goal, breaking the deadlock and securing an important away win for the Riyadh club.
Throughout the game, Al-Nassr displayed dominance, controlling possession and consistently posing a threat to the Al-Fayha defense. For Al-Fayha, striker Anthony Nwakaeme endured a frustrating outing, as he struggled to make an impact due to his team’s inability to supply him with sufficient service.
