Conor Gallagher Shines in Atletico Madrid’s 3-0 Win Over Valencia

England midfielder Conor Gallagher scored his debut goal for Atletico Madrid in their 3-0 victory over Valencia, marking a significant moment for both the player and the club. Gallagher, who joined Atletico from Chelsea for £33 million last month, opened the scoring in the first half, calmly finishing from inside the box after a precise pass from Rodrigo De Paul.

Antoine Griezmann extended Atletico’s lead shortly after the break, and Julian Alvarez sealed the win with his first goal for the club in stoppage time. The Argentine striker, who transferred from Manchester City, ended his four-game goal drought by scrambling in from close range.

This victory moves Atletico Madrid up to second place in La Liga, now just four points behind league leaders Barcelona. Gallagher also became the 12th English player to score in La Liga and the first ever to do so for Atletico Madrid.
