American singer Chris Brown has harshly criticized an up-and-coming artist, Tigo Fariah, accusing him of impersonating him.
Tigo Fariah, who has been posting content on Instagram (@tigoarte) dressed like the R&B star, caught Brown’s attention. Commenting under one of Fariah’s posts, Brown urged him to embrace his own identity rather than mimic him.
“It’s lame as f*ck impersonating me. You look like you are missing a chromosome. Be you my n*gga. You could never be me! So stop it before I slap da sh*t out of you,” Brown wrote.
The comment sparked mixed reactions online, with many criticizing Brown for overreacting.
