Cassper Nyovest Opens Up About Breakup Due to Sex Addiction

Renowned South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest, has candidly revealed the underlying reason behind his breakup with his former partner and baby mama, Thobeka Majozi. Nyovest disclosed that his struggle with sex addiction led to the dissolution of their relationship, shedding light on a tumultuous period marked by personal introspection and transformation.

The rapper, who welcomed a son with Majozi in September 2020, shared his story on a recent episode of Mpoomy Ledwaba’s podcast. Nyovest acknowledged the pain he inflicted on his baby mama throughout their relationship, attributing the breakup to his own shortcomings and destructive behavior.

“I created a serious mess. I hurt my baby mama so much. We broke up, and I have been single for two years,” Nyovest revealed during the candid conversation.

The rapper’s admission sheds light on a deeply personal struggle with sex addiction and ego-driven behavior, which he now recognizes as detrimental to his well-being and relationships. Nyovest’s journey toward self-awareness and accountability culminated in a newfound faith as he embraced Christianity, signaling a pivotal moment of transformation in his life.

“I was addicted to sex and sexual immorality in general. I had such a big ego, and I thought I was better than everyone else. I was humble in the sense that I was a good person, and I didn’t offend anyone. I was headed straight for hell if I didn’t have that wake-up,” Nyovest confessed, reflecting on his past behavior.
