Carlos Tevez Discharged from Hospital After Chest Pains Scare

Former Argentina international and current Independiente head coach Carlos Tevez has been discharged from the hospital after experiencing chest pains.

Tevez, 40, was admitted to a hospital in Buenos Aires on Tuesday, prompting concerns about his health. However, Independiente, the Argentinian top-flight side where Tevez is currently in charge, confirmed that he has been released and will return home to recuperate.

In a statement, Independiente announced that Tevez would rest at home before resuming training with the team on Thursday, indicating a positive turn of events following the health scare.

Tevez, renowned for his stints with Manchester United, Manchester City, and West Ham in the Premier League, retired from professional football in June 2022 after concluding his third spell with Boca Juniors. Since then, he transitioned into coaching, taking over the reins at Independiente in August 2023.

During his playing career, Tevez amassed 201 appearances in the Premier League, winning the coveted title twice with Manchester United and once with Manchester City. His international career also flourished, earning 76 caps for Argentina between 2004 and 2015, representing his nation in numerous prestigious tournaments.
