Burna Boy Ventures into Film Industry as Executive Producer

Grammy-winning artist Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is set to make his mark in the film industry. The renowned ‘African Giant’ will debut as an executive producer in the upcoming movie “3 Cold Dishes,” produced by Black Mic Mac.

Burna Boy will take on this new role through Spaceship Films, a production company he co-founded with his mother, Bose Ogulu. The movie is a collaborative effort, co-produced by Black Mic Mac, Ifind, Alma Prods, Asurf Films, and Martian Network.

Directed by Asurf Oluseyi and penned by Tomi Adesina, “3 Cold Dishes” unfolds a narrative set across Nigeria, the Republic of Benin, and Côte d’Ivoire. “This film is a testament to the strength and resilience of its characters, and it took us blood and sweat to get it to this stage,” Oluseyi shared in an interview with Variety.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Osas Ighodaro, Femi Jacobs, Wale Ojo, Ruby Akubueze, Brutus Richards, along with actors from Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal.
