Controversial Nigerian singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, known by his stage name Brymo, has stirred up the music industry with his bold declaration to never sign with the record labels of his colleagues, Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy.
Despite Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy’s prominent status as leading figures in Afrobeats, Brymo expressed his staunch refusal during a guest appearance on the Bae U Barbie show, ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask.’
“I am the finest vocalist on the continent. I am better than anybody on the continent. I am a better songwriter, I’m the best,” Brymo confidently asserted during the episode. “I would rather go to hell than sign to Wizkid, Davido, or Burna Boy.”
