Bournemouth Extends Andoni Iraola’s Contract Until 2025-26 Season

Bournemouth has announced a contract extension for head coach Andoni Iraola, securing his services until at least the end of the 2025-26 season.

The 41-year-old Spaniard initially joined the Cherries on a two-year deal in June 2023. Despite a slow start, Iraola has guided the club to their highest points total in the Premier League during his first season in charge.

Currently positioned 11th in the table with 48 points, Bournemouth faces Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the season.

Expressing his delight at the contract extension, Iraola stated, “I’m very happy to sign the contract. For me, it is a matter of renewing the confidence from both sides. We have had a good experience with our first season together in the Premier League, and I am happy that both sides want to continue the relationship further.”
