Bobrisky Falls Ill in Detention, Rushed to Hospital

Controversial crossdresser Okuneye Idris, widely known as Bobrisky, has reportedly fallen ill while in detention at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos. After spending the night in a police cell, Bobrisky was transferred to Falomo Police Hospital for medical attention.

A source close to the situation revealed that Bobrisky complained of breast pain and was taken to the hospital around 2:00 p.m. in an ambulance. Witnesses noted that he wore a black gown, covered his face with a shawl, and lay down during the transport.

Bobrisky was apprehended on Monday night by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border while allegedly attempting to leave the country. Reports indicate that he may remain in detention as investigations continue regarding the circumstances of his arrest. The FCID is expected to seek a remand order to extend his detention.

NIS spokesperson Kenneth Udo confirmed the arrest, labeling Bobrisky as “a person of interest” and emphasizing that the agency’s actions are part of ongoing efforts to secure Nigeria’s borders. A formal statement from the FCID regarding Bobrisky’s condition and detention is anticipated later today.
