BNXN Calls Out Wizkid for Allegedly Hoarding Collaborations with Young Artists

Nigerian singer Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has taken to social media to voice his frustration regarding what he perceives as Grammy-winning artist Wizkid’s tendency to withhold collaborations with young artists.

In a candid post on his Snapchat page, the ‘Finesse’ crooner expressed dismay over the apparent trend of artists posting pictures and videos with Wizkid in the studio, only for the collaborative songs to never see the light of day. BNXN questioned the longevity of this pattern, highlighting the absence of any leaked tracks despite years of collaborative efforts.

“Every year, n*ggas post pictures and videos with Wiz [Wizkid] in the studio but the songs never ever comes out. Not even a leak lol. And for years too. Why?” he wrote, echoing the sentiments of many young artists who have yearned for the opportunity to collaborate with the Starboy boss.

The issue of collaborations between Wizkid and emerging artists has been a topic of discussion within the Nigerian music industry, with several notable names, including Teni, Blaqbonez, Shallipopi, Rema, Fireboy, Odumodublvck, and Bella Shmurda, reportedly spending time in the studio with the renowned artist.

Despite the anticipation generated by these collaborative sessions, fans have yet to witness any official releases from these partnerships, leaving many to speculate about the reasons behind the delay and the potential impact on the careers of the aspiring artists involved.
