Ghanaian artist, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, popularly known as Black Sherif, expresses joy over Ivory Coast’s triumph against Nigeria in the recently concluded African Cup of Nations, AFCON. His elation stems from the victory providing an opportunity for payback, as he pledges to continue trolling Nigeria, citing previous mockery from Nigerian colleagues during Ghana’s early exit from the competition.
Taking to his X handle, Black Sherif shares his sentiments, stating: “Blaqbonez called me on Facetime to laugh at me when my country’s Black Stars was sent home, the guy couldn’t stop smiling. Odumodu was on Facetime the next 3 days telling the Jeweller to make me the cheapest piece he’s ever made, And na me call am for the Jeweller o! You want me to shut up? I’m going to bed. We go again this afternoon. Super Eagles! you do this one.”
The artist’s vow to continue the banter reflects the competitive spirit of AFCON, with Black Sherif keen on maintaining the playful rivalry sparked by the tournament’s outcomes.
