Popular social media critic and influencer VeryDarkMan has publicly invited former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna on a date. This invitation comes after Phyna voiced her support for VeryDarkMan in his ongoing legal dispute with the prominent Falana family.
Phyna’s stance ignited a social media spat with fellow BBNaija alumna, Vee Iye, over their differing opinions on the legal battle involving VeryDarkMan. In response to Phyna’s backing, VeryDarkMan expressed his gratitude by announcing plans for a date with her.
In a post on his Instagram story, VeryDarkMan wrote, “Yo, after the meeting with the House of Reps, I’m going on a date with Phyna, @unusualphyna. We are doing groundnut soup and starch.”
This legal battle began when VeryDarkMan leaked an audio recording allegedly featuring crossdresser Bobrisky, claiming that singer Falz had contacted him during a four-month jail term. In the recording, Bobrisky purportedly mentioned that Falz reached out to his father, renowned lawyer Femi Falana, to discuss securing a presidential pardon.
Both Falz and his father have since denied the allegations and have threatened to sue VeryDarkMan for defamation.
